hey man i noticed you added backup lights to your rig.. what kind of lights do you have and where did you get them? also do you have yours rigged with a switch in the cab or did you go the "on in reverse only" route.. ive been looking into this but i dont know a whole lot about wiring so i kind of gave it a rest for the time being.. would you say its a fairly easy install?

Ha, don't let first picture fool you. If you look closey the two-tone is actually the reflection of the driveway. It was a really good hand wash from the dealer. I'll need to put more picture up soon. I appreciate the response, and to answer your question...I don't have a sun roof. Wish I did though! Keep up the work...i'll have my level kit on here soon with the BFG A/T KO 275/65/20R. For now i've installed factory running boards and weathertech floor mats. Long road ahead...

    Tuna,

You didn't add any rear lift did you? I have the exact same truck, and would like to borrow some ideas in the near future.

How many watts are your lights? im planing on getting 2 55w lights and i dont think that the regular tail lights would hold them

I only know so much and I figured you might have a better explanation.

I spliced them into the reverse wire for the actual tail light, not trailer harness since I tow a lot and that harness is yanked on. Also ran a switch to the cab so I can turn them on when I want.

How did you wire your reverse lights? just splice into the reverse light wire for the 7-pole trailer connector? Would that let them come on automatically when in reverse?
