    Bad torque converter i could see...but injectors i think it wouldnt want to run at all with fouled injectors....did it sit long and how many miles are on it

    Well right off hand i would say it could one of four, I would check for vacuum leaks first, then clean the MAF and IAC. Those are gonna be cheap tests, then I would look into the wires plugs and coil pack. I have never had one do that to me so I am going blind here.

    yep no problem, when i first bought it i was like whats up with the 7700 under the badge..it was at a chrystler dealer and i think they sold me some bull**** story about ford coming out with a truck to beat toyota's tundra in 2002 lol.. you can tell the difference between an f150 and a 7700 by its 7 lug rims, it also sits up higher in the rear since its got heavy duty leafs, and a 7700 lb towing capacity.

    o yea man, an f150 7700 series is basically a light duty f250...it has bigger brakes, heavier frame bigger radiator, either 3.73 rear or the 4.10 rear and some other stuff. somtimes youll see what you think is an f150 but it has f250 badges on it...i think 2000 was the last year they put the f250 badges on it and they started putting a 7700 badge underneath the f150 emblem on the tailgate
