I bout a 29"X30" sheet of vinyl. Measured the part of my truck, cut it in squares, lade to on top and cut the outline with a razor blade. It takes a lot of time to do. I think it took me about 5 hours to do all of it. To buy a dash kit like this cost around $200+ dollars. It only cost me $30 and a little time.

Changing all the lights to blue and adding some of my own touch wasn't hard to do, just time consuming in my opinion. I've seen a few posts on how to do it, but if you have any specific questions on how to do it just let me know. I did everything myself so I know exactly how to install everything. I think the lights on the inside of the vents and speakers were a nice touch, pretty subtle when you're driving but definitely custom.

No problem bro. It's been a while since I have been in the car Audio biz, but I know a decent amount about it. Good luck with your college and rock crawler. Let me know if you have any more questions. Also check out that website if you want ****. I have bought a lot of stuff off of them. Hell my buddy even opened a stereo shop, and I hooked him up with them as a supplier. He was only getting about $10-20 off what you or me would pay, cause they sell **** so cheap.

Honestly the Eclipse is a little more complicated than the high end Pioneers, because they have more tuning features. The only place Eclipse really lacks is in the visuals, which is where Pioneers have always dominated. I have had numerous issues with Pioneer decks not ejecting the discs, and the motorized faces being jacked up. The Eclipse also has the ESN security on them. If the deck gets disconnected from the battery then you have to put in a security disc or memory card (if you set the ESN) That way if someone steals it they only have about 10 tries to get it unlocked and then it locks you out of the deck completely. Then you have to take it to an authorized dealer, or send it back to Eclipse to get it unlocked. Most people that know anything about Eclipse won't even bother stealing them. I usually only run Eclipse or Alpine now days, but I honestly haven't looked to see what Alpine has out for double din nav or a cheap place to get them.

Try going with an Eclipse double din/ nav unit. Here is the link to the website you can probably get it the cheapest at http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+-+AVN62D.html

I used to work at a car audio shop, and I have had well over 100 decks easy. Eclipse has the best sound and reliability by far. I wanted to put that deck in my truck, but it's single din, and I ended up finding a Pioneer Avic N2 on craigslist for $300

Thanks bro. I actually got the wheels hella cheap. They were on a huge sale for $180 a wheel (originally $391+). I think I got lucky with the wheels, cause I have 1 ton axles so everything is all 1 ton brakes and 8 lugs. Your truck is pretty sick 2, I kinda miss my 05.

Ya man, I decided to just go ahead and get them now instead of waiting. They discontinued the tire I wanted for the 18" wheel so I went down to a 17", and settled for a Pro Comp Xterrain 37x12.5R17 tire. Got a great deal though, it would of costed just over 800 to get 38's.
