Yeah I think I used 80 as it was all I had...I think it would be better if you did the 80 and then the 320 like you mentioned. The smoother the better it will look once painted.

Oh wow...Yeah Duplicolor doesnt have that color (according to their application chart). If you only need 1 can, which you should for just the skidplate of the bull bar, then 20 bucks aint bad but if you gotta get a ton its fairly expensive. Must be decent paint then. Make sure you get a clear coat as well. That can be Duplicolor though.

Nevermind...True Blue is pretty dark..I was just looking at the Duplicolor vehicle color chart..If you let me know what your paint code is from your door jam sticker I will look it up and see if I can find if Duplicolor makes it for your truck. If you havent already done so.

What is your paint code?? If it is L2 or 'True Blue" then Duplicolor makes it. I would try Advance Auto if you have one around you.

Yeah I painted it myself on a 40 degree day in January outside in windy conditions. Not a smart idea but I was impatient..haha. I sanded/scuffed the metal so I could get the paint to adhere better. I put 2 coats of self-etching primer on it then went to town with Duplicolor Ford paint...My paint code is E4 so Cardinal Red was the color. Then a couple coats of clear and let it sit for a day or two. I chipped a little of the paint when I put my KC lights on because you have to reach up with a socket but its barely noticeable until you are 2 inches away. It definitely adds a custom touch that is for sure. I like to take normal mods and add a custom touch to be different.

Hey Rocky...I dont remember if I responded to your question you asked about how far wheels with 4.75" BS will stick out...Stock backspacing is a little over 6"...so wheels with a 4.75" BS will stick out 1.25" more than stock. They'll stick out a good amount.
