1st 6" install was a Doetsch Kit (piece of junk) with a spacer in front. then I took out the spacer and installed the Bilstein struts. (changed height) Then I raised the spring cup adjustment which changed my height again. Last I took out the Doetsch kit and replaced it with the Pro Comp 6" Stage II. Again my truck ride was changed. Note: I aligned or tried to have my truck aligned each time.

Now my truck sits 11" higher than stock. I also added the rear anti sway bar. this cured the roll issue from lifting my truck and also improved handling during hwy use. ( I know the Sway bar defeats some of the off road crawling abilities my truck has)

Could you imagine if I was to re-spring the back every time I changed something!!!

Now that my truck has been at the height I like . I am planning on re-springing the rear so I can remove the 5" block.

My truck drives real nice. It corners well. I drive on mountainous roads every day.

    My 5" block is a replacement for the stacked 2" + 3"
When I did the Pro Comp 6" I received the 3" to add to my stock 2" I called and asked why they stack blocks? Pro Comp said that it's just how they do it!

So after looking into what is ok or not I found that the best choice would be to have springs made. possible $1000.00
I decided to compromise with a single 5" block for the time being.

    Worst choice: stacked 2" + 3" block

usable but not the best choice: 5" block

Best choice complete set of springs.!!!!!!!!!!!

Since my truck height has changed 4 times. I am glad that I have not gone with the new springs as of yet.
