To tell you the truth, when I was looking for tires, the cooper STTs were the very last tire I wanted to buy..... but my cuz at a tire shop hooked me up with a deal that I couldn't pass up! And I would buy them again.... They are a really good tire and they do super good in snow which is what I do most. The only thing I wish was different on the tire, is that I wish you could stud them for I live in a very snowy/ice place. I have about 12-15000 miles on them so far. Had to buy a new one for I had a blow out off roading but that was my own fault..... Plus they are like one of the only tires still mad in the US

Its pretty straight forward. Read the instructions a couple time first. Ya you just take out the cross pin and the spiders. Use some grease to hold the pieces together when installing. Its' a little messy but make things so much easier. Plus you wont even know the locker is back there until the grease wears off or use step on it. Oh and one more thing, You may have to grind the ends of the axle shafts just behind the C-clips down a little bit, I had to. Double check this! It will save you time and a thread search on here..Aussie's specs on the shaft diameter were a bit off when they made the locker.

Ya that's the locker I have. Works the way it should. I would buy it again. As far as the noise, I can hear the "ratcheting" when coasting around a sharp corner with the windows down. If I really listen I can hear it with the windows up. It does bang with downshifting.
