Anyways, when I finally get to it (been doin home remodelling more than truck remodelling) I'll get new pics up. Works been hell too so I aint browsin the forum like normal. Lol. hey, so im really thinking about putting the HBS leveling kit in but i dont know whether to go with the 2.5" or the 3" one, any suggestions? also do you hear any clanks on your leveling kit when you hit a bump or something?
naw, the shift kit is for the transmission, which has no bearing on HP gain or not. What its intent is to be able to handle more horsepower when I throw it at it. Also, this shift kit is needed whenever you are using boost (SC/TC). Since our trucks are Automatics, the tranny can only handle 10lbs of boost. When our trucks shift, the trans ADDS 2lbs of boost for the shift, thats that lil kick at the end of that gear. Therefore you could only effectively run 7-8 lbs of boost on your application before you break something. This will allow you to run like 20 lbs of boost with keepin the transmission safe.
