Hello, Just did the EA5T-14D544-AD SYNC2 - V3.8 update and navigation is now missing. I see INFORMATION in the top right where it used to say NAVIGATION. Is this something I should be able to resolve ?

Hello, I recently did a master reset on my sync system as advised by a Ford advisor here. Now I'm being referred to you as I'm told you may know more specifically about sync. I have a 2010 f150 Lariat. Before the reset I was told that my sync system was a Gen1-v3.1. My question is after having done the master reset, do I still have my needed updates? Now do I know if my updates are now current?

Hi, I have been trying for quite a while now to update my sync software with no luck. I have tried multiple attempts with different usb drives and all that comes up is no file found. I have seen this happens to many people and you have offered help. What exactly do I need to do? I have a 2012 fx4 with out navigation. On my ford account, it says my last update was November 12, 2011 for Gen1-V4.0.2, trying to update to V.4.4 thanks in advance any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I recently purchased a used 2013 F150 Platinum and was told the software is out of date when creating a Ford account. I downloading the update onto blank USB file, but when I plug it into my truck it said "Bad Installation File" and will not update. I have tried putting the update onto the USB drive every way that I can and it still tells me "Bad Installation File." Do you know how I can fix this?

I had read the tread and see the same problem with the HC vs HA and file locations. Install not found in root directory upon attempt to install.
Called support and chatted for a month now. No one can help me.
any ideas?

Hello, I had posted about my 2015 f-150 not detecting Pandora, which wound up being solved by a master reset. It seems that the truck now finds Pandora but will not play any music through because of "an unknown error". I was wondering where to go from here. If you need more details I'll find a link to the thread. Thanks in advance!

Hello - Tried the update on my 2010 F150 Gen1. It installed, got two message about 20 minutes apart, got reboot message. Everything seemed OK. Things work but there are a few issues. I hoped to do a reset and reapply but realized I deleted the files. Can I get another copy ?

Recently updated my sync but not sure if that is causing my issue. Display will not come on. Can press power button and see clock sometimes. Then all of a sudden couple days ago it starts working again. Same night it goes crazy. I have a youtube video of it before it went out for good:
Can't do master reset but did one before this happened. couple times in the past it has shut off but come back on. Not happy as I have a sirius subscription and can't listen to it.

Am I screwed?

I have a 2013 F150 4x4 crew cab eco boost. I have a 911 assist fault/see dealer message. No volume what so ever. I did take to dealer and was told the DSP digital signal processor is bad. 400+ for part 400 labor. told not under warrenty do to my miles, yea I just took the standard 36k. I've read about the class action lawsuits against Ford due to the Sync problems. I also know there are parts Ford has extended the warrenty on the APIM module for one. Any help would be nice.
