thanks for the info. its really appreciated. im looking as of now for the swap. seem to be having some trouble with finding the rest of the parts for it. i can find the SC all day but the lower intake ect seems to be hard to find. any ideas, or should i ask in a general forum?

by a lightning swap, are you reffering to the whole motor or just the SC system? this motor is in good shape its got plenty of power zero running issues from what i can tell. it has a valve tick that seems pretty common in OHC engines. um whats your opinion in procharger systems?

Hi, my names Daniel, i was looking through the forum and noticed a few people saying youre the guy to ask about modding a ford motor. from the looks of it theyre right. i just picked up an 01 f150 that needs some help. in the end i want a pre-runner. im going full camberg suspension, but as far as motor mods i have no clue where to begin. i want to boost it, but every site i look at all says theyre reliable and the most powerful. can you help with pointing me in the right direction? i have the 5.4L with the 4sp auto. im looking for around 450-500 hp in the end.

Hey, dude. Is it true that the 07's don't have the spark plug issue if it has a brown boot on the COPs?
