For rims i want something simple like the mickey thompson classic lock wheels with black locks. i was thinking 18" rims. Are there any other rims that would look good on this truck?

Tires i have been looking at 35's.... pro comp xtreme all-terrain tires or mickey thompson baja mtz. what other tires if any would last long and fit a 6" lift on this truck?

My last questions are about edge programmers and superchips. what are they? do they really help? do i need one? if so which type do i know to get so i will have improved fuel economy, toque, and horsepower. Also i was looking for a good intake system and i found aarid cool air dam and arrid throttle body. will all these things help my truck or just be wasting money?

    I have a 2006 red ford f-150 fx4.
I want to put a syspension lift for hunting and looks and I am not completley positive what i need.

My ideas are a 6" BDS suspension lift with strut spacers in the front and leaf spring rear hydrualic shock absorbers in the back.
If i got a lift would i just need the lift and nothing else, or new brake lines, steering collumn, or something extra that i need?

I would like to know about other lifts because i really like the rancho lifts and pro comp lifts.

i doubt those kinda yards are gonna have that new of trucks...i have seen dashes and consoles go for as much as a grand, i found my console on ebay complete with shifter for 80 bucks shipped, and then i ended up getting an entire dash assembly, for 250 shipped, after i sold my center console that i had and all the crap off the dash i got, i actually made some cash on the whole deal..then you need the brackets for the console, a new trans cable, wire harness plug, kick panel trim, new column shroud...i think thats it

Then i wouldnt expect it to be that much??Most junk yards around here, you pay them 50 bucks, and you can go in their and pick whatever you want, and thats it.Now say i found a ford with the floor shifter,(again,04-08s im assuming right??)can i get all the parts that i wil need for the swap,or wil i need some aftermarket parts also??This is something i have really wanted to.When i'm driveing i always put my hand on the collum shifter, lol.i also wish mine was stick, but the floor will do,lol
