Hey, thanks! It certainly gets the looks driving through town. Guess many of the younger ones aren't used to hearing a V8 roar coming from a Jeep :-)
Interesting note about the Renegades not having the tailgate. I figured the PO had removed it. My previous CJ5, a '76, had the tailgate - the rattle was quite annoying, although it was handy for loading stuff.
Don't know how things are in your area - but this area has a neat tradition where the CJ/YJ/TJ/JK drivers wave at each other in passing - more so with the older-series, traditional owners, but the newbies are catching on. Ahhh, there's just nothing like a (real) Jeep.
Thanks man! I wish it was 4WD though. I do have a small lift kit in mind for it so I can at least drive over a curb if I have to. LOL. Also have a set of AR Outlaw II waiting in the garage for when the time comes.
Truthfully, I know nothing about Rough County Lift Kits,
I'm sure they are good lift kits, if they weren't they would not still be in business. Many people swear by them.
I've seen RC advertised for 30 years or longer.
