yeah, it would, i have a 79 too, the body is crap but the engine i built my self, but yeah the ce light would come on but its nothing

well.. the good thing is is that the egr isnt realy necesary. my uncle used to plug it off and never had any problem. as far as the frame .. its a good bet that a heating torch can fix that!

i dont forsee a problem... i dont think the straight 6 changed much over the yaers.. at least as far as the exhuast..so.. i think it should

I actually live in OH, but my uncle's live in Sheboygan and he took us to a pipeline in nothern WI that looked similar to that of the pics you posted. Then in the UP he has a cabin in Republic with loads of trails, we drive up about once a year or so thats where we were headed with the trailer

It felt like it gave me a little bit more power and maybe improved my mileage about 1 mpg the best part is the cooling whistle sound it makes but I prefer the cold air intake before it though.
