2007 F150 Lariat 5.4 crewcab 37,000 miles
My truck developed a whine in the rearend and the transmission died after it developed an "eggbeater" noise under the truck around the center console. Took it in and they replaced part of the trans. and rebuilt the rearend. When I got it back it had a shudder that happened between 50-70 mph. Now they have realigned the diveshaft, replaced the ring and pinion gear and as of today (7-28-10) are going to replace the torque converter. Helfman has been great no hassel except for rental cars but how common is this problem? Sound out if anyone else has gone through this. I have seen posts that go as far back as 2001 models but 2005 to 2008 look like the worst.
