I have had these tail lights made by recon for over a year now without any problem. You will get all kinds of opinions here, but make your own.

It would be ideal to have another body to help out, but I used a cardboard box to get the height I wanted and help with marking the flaps for drilling.

This is the first thing I did to my truck. Bak G2 Retractable Tonneau. Almost 2 years now. Stays dry inside, just make sure to cut the tail gate seal the right length. Like I screwed it up the first time.
