Default Std Cluster to Tach Cluster

I have a 96 F150 EB 5.8l with the standard cluster. Can I swap it out with the tachometer cluster? Is it a straight forward swap out or do I have to mod for the tach?

It's a straight swap. You'll need a 96 cluster. Wiring changes.

I was at the salvage yard today getting some screws for some trim, on the floor was a cluster upside down. After pulling all the bulbs out I turned it over and it was a complete 1995 tach cluster. Not bad for $30.00.

Swapped it out and it works, love it.
