Default Radio and overhead console

Hey guys. I got an 07 f150 and the factory radio was in it when I first got it. I have since put an aftermarket Bluetooth radio in it, but thinking about going back to factory. Problem is that the lcd display is extremely dim. almost to the point of not being able to see anything unless it is night, and then still barely. How hard is it to replace that screen? The radio does work still, but just the display is messed up.

Also I have a light out on the overhead console and can't seem to figure out how to get the thing off. thanks.

I've not heard of replacing just the screen on the radio, so I don't know that its chassis can be taken apart. You may want to start there, by examining your stock unit. I do know, however, that stock replacement heads are available online, and I don't believe they're all that outrageously expensive.
