Hello, hope you guys can help me with this. I have a 2012 XL reg cab wk truck. It had a aftermarket stereo with backup camera that got stolen on Father's Day. My problem is that I had a new stereo put in and the installer brought it to my attention that I had no reverse lights.
Bulbs are good. I'm not sure what could have caused this so I'm asking how do I test the back up lights? Is there a reverse switch somewhere? Any other switches/sensors located anywhere else? If someone has a drawing or schematic of how the reverse lights work it would be great.

How was the backup camera powered? Take a look at the reverse wire it was tapped into.

I have a feeling it will be something to do with that back-up camera install...
