Default Helping Soundstage system?

I bought the soundstage upgrade about a year ago, and installed it on my truck. The Youtube videos of F150 owners that installed it showed owners RAVING about the great sound of the system. I expected more.

The problem I have is the muddy bass. I judge that too much bass sound is being put through the door speakers. Have any other members here become fed up with this sound and put capacitors on the door speakers to limit the bass frequencies that go through them? If so, what specific cap have you used?

Thanks in advance.

You'll probably get more action in this thread - https://www.f150forum.com/f38/kicker...f150-s-311200/

I ended up tapping into the rear speakers on mine because I thought the sub sounded overly loud being tapped into the front speakers. But I guess things sound differently for everyone. I just have the substage, not the powerstage.
