Default Has anyone installed a compact sub in the center console?

So, I bought a 2015 F-150 supercab a few weeks ago with MFT, but without Sony. First thing I found was that its lacking in the sound department. It's not a huge deal at this very moment, but I am looking for ways to improve upon what I've got. So, I've been searching for ways that I could add a sub and try not lose my under seat storage area. So, looks like I have basically 3 options. Kicker or custom enclosure behind rear seat, something under rear seat or maybe mounting one inside the center console.

I'm not trying to go deaf anymore as I halfway accomplished that years ago. I just want something that sounds good and has a nice bump inside the truck when I want it to. I've been thinking about possibly adding a 8" sub and a compact enclosure I could fit in the black hole of a center console I have. I don't use the space for anything except the little slider thing at the top, but I don't know how well it would work or if it would sound good or create a bunch of rattles.

So, I guess I'm just looking to hear some input from you guys with some recent audio experience as I've been out of it for 15+ years. What route should I go in your opinion? Thanks

I was just contemplating this yesterday! I have a Kicker 11HS8 ordered that will be here tomorrow. I am pretty set on installing it behind the rear seat, but I am going to check to see if it will fit in the Black Hole first. I may end up ordering another to go in there if it does. I am just not sure about it fitting though. I will let you know when I get it in tomorrow though.

I am right there with you about not wanting to go deaf(because I already am thanks to my youth and a 2000w system I had in my cars from High School through College), but I want to have the low end filled out. My initial thoughts were to do 2 of the Kicker 11HS8's behind the rear seats, which I will probably still end up doing, but if I could get one in the center console......that could be a possible 3rd sub addition. I may try it will one of the knock off brands like BOSS, Sound Ordinance, etc... since they cost 1/3rd of what the Kicker does though.
