Default Intake Manifold Heater Tube

Anyone with any tips on how to install a new one? I tried using an old 1/2" drive extension but to my surprise, the metal of the extension is softer than the tube. Go figure. Anyway if there is a tool for this please point me in the right direction or any tips would be appreciated such as do I need to use any kind of sealant or lube to install it.

What kinda truck/engine?

Got any pics?

Do you mean the T that feeds to the heater core. You can use plumbing fixtures/adapter for this type of stuff. Brass/Copper couplings, nipples.

Use pipe tape or the factory uses Permatex high temp sealant. Its a white tube, I cant remember the exact name, I got some at NAPA. I use it for head bolts that go into water jackets in the block. You can get away with pipe tape in your application though. It's all NPT thread counts.
