I have a 1996 F150 XL it has the In line 6 is there anyway I can make it sound deep and roar like a 8 cylinder pipe wise?

Not really. You could try a flow master 40 series. Look up videos on YouTube first. You may be able to get past the p****d off bumblebee.

You can achieve a deeper tone on your L6, but because it isn't a V8, it will have different sound characteristics. If you are considering a Flowmaster muffler or system, here is a link to the options that we produce for your truck. I recommend that you maintain a mild to moderate tone if you want your truck to sound nice and deep. When I had mine, I had true dual straights. The cats were taken off as well. It was loud as hell and obnoxious. I had to put glasspacks back on because i couldn't have a conversation with someone in the cab. There isn't much to do to get it have a good, deep tone like the 8 cylinders have.
