2001 f150 v8 chugging and jerking

Default 2001 f150 v8 chugging and jerking

truck idles fine but when you lightly press the gas it starts to chug and jerk. then after the rpm get up it starts to stop. when I take off I have no power till the rpms get up. ive changed the fuel filter replaced the ignition coils. what else can it be? please help

There are sticky's saying what else to consider. Like the air sensor, throttle body, throttle position sensor. Might take a look at them and check them off of your list.

Sounds like the fuel pump is taking a crap. This happened in my 98 f150 4.6. I tried fuel filter, egr, fuel pressure regulator, plugs and wires and coils, trans flush and filter, vacuum lines, dpfe sensor, finally i gave in and bought a code scanner and a fuel pressure guage and my fuel pump was bad. Took me a whole 1.5 hours to put a new one in. Id start there
