I have a 1987 6 cyl f150 that i just pulled the stock engine out of. I bought a used 1994 6cyl f150 engine and need to know if i need to keep the stock injection system or if i can use the one on the 94 engine? also if there is anything else i should know, i would appreciate all the help i can get on this one. thanks

To my knowledge, you should use the distributor, ignition control module, and the wiring harness from your 87 to let me the fuel system work good.

I am removing the 4.9 l engine from my 1990 F150. I am wondering how you attach the chain/strap to the rear of the engine. I cannot find a suitable place to attach the cable on the right rear of the engine. I called the Ford dealership but received no help. Can someone give me some guidance?

Thanks in advance

There are three bolt holes in the bottom right side of the engine block in a triangular pattern you can bolt a plate of steel to lift by if your you make holes in the steel to bolt through and another hole for a hook to go into to lift by
