Clutch Recommendations for a Performance F150 w/MD50 Trans
We are in the process of doing a resto-mod on my 93 F150 and I am trying to decide what to do for a clutch. When we are done with the 302 (333 Stroker with some "add ons"), we figure I should be around 400HP. Does anyone have any recommendations for what I should be looking for in the clutch? I may end up changing to a ZF5 trans eventually, but for now I will be running the original M50D-R2 trans.
Thanks for the help.
Other info about my truck:
1993 F150 XLT Supercab
302 modded to 333 Stroker
M50D-R2 transmission
6 inch Pro Comp lift with quad shocks (rear lift is new springs instead of blocks or add a leaf)
32x11.5015 BFG All Terrains (once engine is done these will be changed to 35x12.50/15
Thanks for the help.

The F250's came with an 11" clutch (to the best of my knowledge). I'm in the process of rebuilding my trans and have a shot slave so I just ordered a Stage 2 clutch from Ebay for my 91 XLT Lariat as well. I'll be reusing the flywheel (just getting it resurfaced). Measure your current clutch disk....I know I read somewhere around here that 11" may need additional holes drilled on the flywheel, but fortunately for me one of the P.O's had an 11" already installed so mine is a direct bolt-on.
