Replacing my muffler...
An wanting to replace my muffler myself, I have the tools to get it taken off and I have a welder to put the new one on. Any pointers from anyone? I've never done this before... Thanks in advance and God Bless
The hardest part is lining up the two pieces, so make sure your cuts are straight otherwise you'll have a hell of a time trying to weld them (like I did) then prop it up on a milk crate or something... There's not a whole lot to it! I just cannot stress enough how important it is to get your cuts straight! So measure, and measure again, get your saw, measure again and then cut straight up an down, it's easy, I did some exhaust work recently too, except my muffler rusted out, so I cut it out and replaced it with a piece of pipe!
