where is the cam position sensor a 1996 4.9 liter?
I have a 1996 Ford F 150 2 wheel drive 5 speed and I am unable to locate the cam position sensor on the 4.9 liter inline 6

No actual cam sensor on that truck. You have a PIP (Profile Ignition Pickup) sensor in the distributor (which is driven off the cam).
