Really? In a 97!? Well that's a new one on me! Lol. I wouldn't do it.

I have a 5.9 cummins in my 87 F350. Did nothing to frame or springs. Fasted freight hauling pick-up ive ever had. Doesnt shake rattle or roll.

Nice looking truck and you cant go wrong with that engine.
I have a 87 F350 with a 6B never a problem.
people ask about to much weight..... I tell them its just like two fat people sitting up front. not that much more than diesel that came out of it......

Yup. On diesel bombers. Ex can long bed and a screw from 01. They had 4bt though

4bt is a bit smaller though i've seen them put in Broncos without upgrading suspension but 6bt is where its at

go for it. just put some 3/4 ton axles and suspension under it and you'd be fine.

oh me too. hopefully i can get that 5spd transmission tomorrow, then i'll be pretty much broke for a few weeks
