What did you do about the power brakes, the junk man used hydroboost from a diesel f350, but hooked it to the mopar pump from the donor truck.
Funny but true, the junk man bought a newer 3500 dodge to replace the old ford, then after comparing the two, he sold the dodge because he didn't think it would hold up.

Funny u should ask...I was going to go hydro but also wanted my ac to work..so instead I went with a large vac can a Volvo 12v break booster pump and high low vac switch ..also a Volvo part..as of today, 600 miles, no problems and 24 to the gallon, that's an average..been doing a little heavy foot driving and pulled my 4500 pound boat 80 of those miles.

Well that depends on a lot of factors. I got my motor from a family member. All said and done I have about 3500 to 4 k in it. I'm up to 6000 miles now, not the first issue knock on wood....
