I have a 1990 f150 with this crappy wishbone front end I'm an offroad guy. I would like to know how to swap to a solid axle front end similar or the same as the late 70s f150s let me know of any opinions or hopefully someone has done this before.

 

Put on your flame suit and go to the Pirate 4x4 forums. Or FSB. There are literally thousands of SAS threads out there for these trucks.

I'd start by figuring out what kind of suspension you want to run...4 link, radius arms, leaves, coilovers...

And get a good welder and a tape measure.
