Auto to manual transmission swap

Auto to manual transmission swap
I have a 1994 f150 5.0 4x4, the transmission seems to be going to hell, and I have been thinking about converting it to a manual transmission; since, it's no longer my primary driver. Ibdont know a whole lot about this kinda thing, so I'm wondering what all parts and tools would be needed, and how much it would cost to do it myself, or if I had someone help me out. All advice is much appreciated

You basically have to find out if the mounts will work as-is and expect to cut a hole in the floor to get the shift linkage up into the cab. You can connect / mount anything to anything if you're good with working with metal. Just have to make sure you get it perfect.

You'll need the clutch/brake pedal assemblies and all related bracketry. You'll also need the master and slave cylinders. As far as the hole for the shifter, I THINK its there, with a delete plate installed in it. Certainly this is a doable project, but its going to be more expensive and complicated than just replacing the automatic. Good luck.
