Default Wipers won't shut off

So i recently purchased a 93 F150 XLT Ext Cab 5.0 4x4 and one of the many (minor) issues is that whenever I use the wiper fluid the wipers will not shut off until I shut off the engine. I have already taken apart the wiper lever and cleaned out the inside hoping built up grease would of solved the problem, which it didn't. Any other suggestions?

Default turn signal switch

I'm assuming that the washer function is located on the turn signal arm isn't it..? You have a bad turn signal switch... It can cause all sorts if problems... with your wipers, your brake lights and if course turn signals...I'm sorry to say it,but it's what I think is wrong...good luck to you sir I hope it helps.....
