hello I am in the process of installing a electronic trailer brake controller in my truck. I have located the plug under the dash for the brake controller but have heard I need to connect wires under the hood are any of these pigtails what I'm looking for if not any input for what they do would be much appreciated. chilton is useless for this part

Look in "blue wire for trailer brakes" below your thread. There's a picture of the relay box and the 2 plugs.
