Default Swapping 94 wiring Harness into 96 Chasis

The motor in my 96 is done, lots of blow by low compression, the works. My friend has a parts truck with a 94 motor. How hard would it be to switch over the two electrical systems. I know I would have to swap over the engine harness along with the computer system. But would everything else just plug and play like the gauge cluster, indicator lights, brake and clutch switches? Any input would be helpful, Thanks!

Go to alldata diy. Pay 28.00 bucks for the car you to restore and pay 16.00 bucks the donor car. I have used it for years and if your doing any wiring this is a must. It will have everything and more for your car. I used it to do three complete electrical swaps,

Easier to swap over the couple parts you need from the 96 motor to the 94 motor and leave your wiring alone.
