Dang...I spoke too soon, hehe. Noise started again this afternoon. Seems to be heat-related. It started later today, as it got warmer outside. It doesn't seem to be affected by heat in the cab. The a/c works great and temps inside would be cool, but outside temps hot. That's all I can figure, anyway. I might try replacing the noise suppressor. I found a similar one online...for a different vehicle, but very similar.

They could go bad, though, I guess? I just wouldn't begin to know how to test it. One thing's for sure, though...this noise is like nails on a chalk board.
