Default Power window issue

Can somebody confirm what I suspect?

If the wires to the driver door are cut will it also disable the circuit for the passenger door window Control?

Yes, just went thru this myself, my drivers window when put down rubbed the insulation off and pinched the wires off, there is a plastic bolt that keeps this from happening by keeping the wires out of the way . trip to the jy solved my prob and 15 min labor.

Yes. Also if the driver switch is bad the passenger side won't work.
