Question Fast blinking turn signals?

Ever since I got this truck, a '96 F150 4.9L, earlier this year, the turn signals blink fast. I checked all the bulbs and they are all working. Another thing to add to the confusion is that the four-way flashers blink at normal speed. I did notice a 12v turn signal flasher relay with all the fuses, could that be the problem?

I realized that the turn signals don't "click" when they're on so there must be something wrong with the turn signal flasher. I have a new one ordered and I'm pretty sure that will fix the problem.

Did you replace the turn signal bulbs in the dash? That could be the problem there. You can only replace the illumination bulbs behind the dash with LEDs, the warning/indicator bulbs behind the dash must be the normal incandescent type bulbs that were in the truck from factory. If you replaced any those bulbs, the truck's computer thinks they're out (since LEDs provide such little resistance compared to the incandescents) and it'll act funny. Trust me, I figured it out the hard way lol.

it was the turn signal flasher in the fuse panel off to the side of the steering wheel. Replaced with a Bussmann 552 and it worked like normal again.
