I have a 94 f150 4x4 xlt W/cruise control.
I am looking to see which 2 wires I cut and connect to bypass the clutch safety switch.
There are 6 wires to the switch. Starting at firewall (red/blue, red/blue, pink/blue, brown, green, blue) . Trying to wire a switch to add safety and possibly fix my no start problem if its caused by a bad switch.

The computer uses that signal too. That's why there are more than two wires. I'm away from my wiring diagrams right now.

Ya i'm just trying to wire in a switch to use instead of using the clutch to activate the ignition. If the switch is broken will it still cause a no start situation if I rig in a bypass switch?

I just went out and checked mine because I had to bypass mine when i put in the willwood master.
the wires that have to be spliced together are the green/yellow line and the brown/blue line

dont know what other wires do what but i've not had any starting problems with mine.

thanks. also im having a starting problem. I don't know what the problem could be. New Starter, Starter solenoid , battery, terminals , alternator, ignition. I turn key and hear fuel pump and click. If I jump the solenoid it will crank so that should mean I have good positive and ground to starter and solenoid right? what else could be my issue?

the baby wires off the battery running to the relay on the fenderwell are known to cause starting problems, they like to corrode all the way down the inside of the wire.

if that was the issue and it wasnt getting enough voltage then i dont believe i would be able to jump the 2 leads on the solenoid and it activate the starter to crank the motor. which i can do.

am i right?

sorry to say but it was not ground or anything like you thought . it was the clutch safety switch . i connected 2 prongs with a extra wire i had and it starts fine .. thanks for the help but it was actually connecting the 2 red/ blue wires to bypass it. mine doesnt have the brown wire yours has.
