blower fan speed

Most likely your problem with the fan motor is caused by a problem associated with the resistor pack, its located in the plenum of your climate control system. The resistors step down the amount of current going to the motor itself thus it runs at slower speeds. The resistor pack is bypassed with the fan set to high. Another area that is a potential problem is the fan switch itself. It is subject to right around 26amps and is prone to meltdown and failure. Another potential area of trouble is the connector that goes to the resistor pack. Check the connector, pull the climate control panel and check the switch, look for burnt pins and melted plastic. It may be necessary to get a wire print and a volt ohm meter to verify the problem.
