Question Bed lighting

I want to buy these:
Amazon.com: Truxedo 1704523 B-Light Tonneau Under Rail Truck Bed Lighting System: Automotive Amazon.com: Truxedo 1704523 B-Light Tonneau Under Rail Truck Bed Lighting System: Automotive

but i have little electrical knowledge. I need to know how I would connect them electrically. Do I need to connect to the wiring harness or bring power from the battery and how?

You could always run power from the battery and put a switch in the cab and use the holes in the floor at the back of the cab. Seal it and bam. Done. Thats how i would do it anyway.

Like said you would be better off running a fused wiring harness off the battery or solenoid, an adding a toggle switch. I agree with either running out the back of the cab, or under the truck. You could run the wires through the fire wall for the toggle switch an mount the switch on the trim some where.

Have you had success with the B-Lights? Mine had half the LED's burn out within two months. I am awaiting a warranty replacement.
