I am wanting to replace the back window of my '95 XLT longbed; I was considering a sliding glass rear window but last night I wondered if anyone has ever tried adapting the rear window glass and window motor/regulator from a Bronco?

I'm thinking that if I use all the inner workings of a Bronco rear window, i.e. the factory window switch, regulator, motor, guides, and a modified F150 fixed window glass or use the center portion of an Explorer Sportrac rear window and modify/cut the F150 rear window glass for the sides, it should work...

It has been done before using those windows, Ford actually put out about 500 F150s in 1987 (I think) that had this option- know as the Bigfoot edition. Came with super upgraded suspension, stock lift, power rear window, etc...
