96 F150 Blower not working everyday
My problem is a little different than when not working on all speeds (blower resistor issue). Mine is some days it works, some it doesn't. It works on all speeds when it works. How do I do the process of elimination? Complete newbie but have located resistor and motor and have understanding of how to get things apart.

It's a Canadian thing eh!
So the blower will intermittently not work on any speed? If thats the case I would check the connections to the blower motor itself if they are bad.

Sounds like a dirty or coroded connector or fuse. Next time it won't come on run a wire directly from the battery to the blower just to verify it's still good, then you will know to it's somewhere else.

Like Sylver said check the connector at the blower.. the blower motor could be bad but I would put my money on the blower switch or its connector. They are notorious for melting because you have about 25 amps going through it on high. The least bit of corrosion (resistance ) will cause it to melt.
If you are good with a voltmeter or test light I could get you a wire print and you can track it down that way.
Edit: this is a 96 not sure if Ford changed the wiring up to prevent all those amps going through the switch. But I would still check it.
