my cousins 95 150 the od shift button end fell of when she went to put it in reverse the button sparked and then gauges went out and the transmission struggled to get past 30 mph then after 30 mph it seemed to run fine but takes forever to get it up to speed and help would be great so i can try and help her out

I'd start by replacing the switch and checking any fuses related to the transmission and gauges.
