Default 95 F150 Hazard Lights

When I press the button for the Hazard Lights to come on, all of the lights come on, but they don't blink like Hazards usually do, which isn't very effective in telling other drivers what's going on. As far as they know I'm just turning my lights on. Anyways, they have done this ever since I have had the truck, but I just now decided to try and figure it out. Thanks in advance.

try swapping the 4-way flasher and the turn signal flasher, if the turn signal is on but not blinking then the flasher was bad

Listen to the man, it sounds like a bad flasher.

Where can I find the flashers, and how do I go about switching them? Also, how much would it cost to fix this if it is the problem? Thanks.

The turn signal flasher is on the front side of the fuse panel under the dash (near your left knee when your in the driver seat) (fuse side). the 4-way flasher is on the back side (wire side)

To remove the flashers, just pull on them like a fuse.

you can get a replacement at any auto parts store.

Thank you for the information. I will get out there soon and try to figure it out. Hopefully this is the problem, so I don't have to do a bunch more work. Haha. I will update as soon as I test it out.

Default Hi Vette 117 Same problem here

Hi Vette 117, were you able to figure out the problem with your hazards? I sure hope so and maybe you can tell me what you did to fix them? My 96 F150 is having the same problem. They will blink very weakly a few times and then stop, but the flasher doesn't make any noise at all. I have tried two different flashers and just put in a new multi function switch yesterday. That didn't help. All my lights, turn signals and brake lights work just fine. I pull a travel trailer and need the hazards big time. My truck is the 96 F150 XLT with the 300/6 and 5 speed manual. I'm gonna go bonkers soon if i can't figure this out. Help pleeeeeeeeeeze! Thanks!

Oh....i just noticed Fordbuff91's reply to you. A second flasher behind the fuse thingie? I'll have to look for that. I didn't know there were two of those critters.......obviously, lol.

Default Thanks fordbuff91

Well, my flashers are now working again. Thanks fordbuff91.

I have never had a vehicle with a second flasher so when i read your reply to vette117 about there being two, i went and looked.

Sure enough, there it was behind the fuse block. Ya sure can't see it from the front of the panel. That was the problem. Thanks again.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but it was just the flasher for me too. Mine didn't work at all though. I would press the button and there might as well have been nothing hooked up behind it. Glad you had it figured out though! Haha.

Hi Vette117,

Thanks for the reply!
I'm glad to hear it was just that 2nd flasher for you too. Good luck with your truck from here on out.
