Default 95 5.8 TPS Sensor

Hey all,

So I went out cruising tonight and I noticed my truck was having a high idle. At its worst around 1200 rpm in park and around 900 in gear. I just replaced the TPS sensor, and I am under the impression that I screwed up somewhere. I realized tonight that I did install it backwards. When I was changing it out, I was also having trouble with one of the screws wanting to strip out, so I got it as tight as I safely could and left it. The other screw went in snug no problems. Could either one of these issues be related to the high idle? Or could it be something else?

Got her fixed, I did two things wrong. First I forgot to reinstall the little plastic o ring that goes around the throttle shaft, and second I didn't turn it 90 degrees clockwise to get the sensor properly lined up
