Default '92 F150 not cranking

I went to start my pick up the other day and there was nothing there, radio and dash came on but no crank, not even a click. So first thing being the easiest I tried to jump it. That didn't do it so I ruled out a dead battery. Next I thought bad solenoid so I replaced that and it still doesn't start. I can jump the two big posts on the solenoid and it'll start, it works on the new and old solenoid. So would it be the ignition switch or could I have possibly missed a fuse or relay?

What you're doing when you jumper the posts is taking the ignition switch circuit out of the loop. The problem is somewhere in the left hand side of the circuit. Also, double check that the truck is in park

Yes it is in park lol made me get a little nervous when you said that. I have the 4 speed w/ od so that leaves the clutch interlock switch and the gear selector sensor correct? I've tried starting in neutral and that didn't do anything also I've tried lifting and pulling down on the shifter slightly just to try that and still no clicking or turning over

Yep. I would start at the neutral switch. Just unplug the harness and check for ~12 volts at the White/Pink wire.

You tried it in neutral as well ?
You can also use a test light on the ignition switch to make sure it's passing current.

I'm thinking about just wiring in a push button switch to start it. I know it isn't fixing the problem but itd be a definite security gain.

Of course if you get your test light out and find the fault you can just replace whatever is malfunctioning and save yourself the trouble. All the wires and plug ins are already there. And the wiring diagram is right on this page.
