91 f150 4.9l eec problems
Hello all.
I'm in the process of replacing my eec, I did all of the test and came to the conclusion that it needs replaced. My question is when i look for an eec on different websites AND go to the store there are about 15 different options with different OE part numbers, nowhere on my original eec is there a part number, it might have got rubbed off. I called the dealer and gave them my vin and he gave me a number of F3TZ-12A650-XB. The closest number of the units i see online is F3TF-XB. What do you all think?

There is a calibration code on the drivers door for the correct computer if you still have the original door...9 different ecm's for 1990 model year. The wrong one won't work
Google ACE Automotive Computer Exchange in Davie, Florida. They have rebuilt two ecm's for me. about 150 and it will be done right the first time.

I took a look in the ecu and found that 2 of the capacitors are burned up. I ordered some new ones and will replace them when I get them. Hopefully it will work, from what I've read it should fix the problem.
