4.9 plug wires issue
Hey so I just got this 96 f150 that Im fixing up pretty nice. (I will be posting on here a decent bit)
So I was changing spark plugs and pulling the old wires off (1 at a time) And on the very last one the connector inside the boot came off on the plug. So now I have to change wires. But fired it up anyways and she shook bad and misfired.
Now I was changing them out one by one, and accidentally pulled 2 off at once on the distributor. Well I think I mixed them up. When it turn over it just turns over for a sec then dies down then turns over again (it has a good battery).
So went on here looked up how they should go in order and tried it no luck same thing. I looked all over this cap and there is no number 1 ?
Anyways we got them kind of switched around and it runs like complete ****. What should I do as these plug wires must be mixed badly and the distributor must not be in the stock position.
