Default 1995 F150 XLT with 5.0--turn signal causes both side markers to light

I just noticed this problem...when I turn on my turn signal, either left or right, both sides flash like my hazards are on. And on top of that, they pause the blinking when the brakes are applied. I am very confused. I replaced that switch and it worked fine, but now it isn't.

Hi there,

I replaced the multi function switch on the steering column. Brain fart I guess that I didn't put it on the original post.

A wild guess but they have different switches for electronic flashers and non electronic flashers. Actually 3 different listings for these trucks. Could be problem . Possibly ruined flasher .

If it helps, the left turn arrow doesn't illuminate anymore either, but I assume that is the bulb in the panel. Also, are you referring to buying another multifunction switch or some other part?

Check your flashers then maybe use test light to check wiring at the plug on base of column . Might just be a ground problem .

I'm having same problem (90 bronco) left blinker works correctly (light on dash doesn't work) but right blinker looks like hazards are on. No switches have been changed, truck was sitting 5 years so I'm working a Lotta bugs out
