Ok guys I bought this truck last weekend..still learning anyway changed out the ecu monday. Fired it up drove it maybe five miles round the house to test it.ran good. Come back tonight intending to pull code..truck will not start.the fuel pumps run constant when the key is on. Changed the relay, took relay out they stop, injectors have power too them took the test light to bout everything i could. Plenty of fuel up in the rail..also the c.e.l is on. AlmostA ready to scrap it..lol any idea guys.?

No sir., well I will say I tried the wire trick no code reader..but I got nothin the c.e.l never flashed just a constant on..pulled the neg cable off for bout half hour thought it'd clear it..but the light is right back on as soon as the key is on.! Even tried it without the f.p relay in so they wouldn't run..but same results..lifht staying on

Something fried out the new computer. Or bad wiring, or both.

thats what I was afraid of! Now I'm new to this gen. Of trucks..but is there any common culprit I might check before throwing another on in it.? Truck ran good engine wise with the old ecu..I changed it in hopes that it would solve my trans issue
But it didnt and now added this to the fix it list.

I would put the old computer back in. Most likely wasn't the problem the first time.
