1990 F150 5.0: Code 64 Need Help
(1990 F150 5.0 V8 4x4 Auto)
Hey guys, I pulled the codes again and I have code 64 again. I have already replace the Intake Air Sensor one about 2 weeks ago. By doing some research I hard they barely ever go bad, but I started there since it was fairly cheap. After changing the sensor the code is back, are the spots in the harness that ground out? After looking I dont see anything obvious, but I'm also not sure what else to do. Any help or ideas on this is appreciated.
Thanks
Matt

Did you erase your codes after you replaced the IAT sensor? Pull the connector and clean it really well with quick drying electronic cleaner. Make sure all of the plugs are properly seated in the connector. Follow the wiring to check for damage. If those are the really small wires it is common for the to snap yet still have the insulation intact, check to ensure proper voltage.
